Finished Golden Retriever Puppy

Hello and Happy Friday! I hope that your week has been productive. As promised, here is the finished Golden Retriever Puppy drawing in graphite and polychromos black.

Isn’t she freaking adorable?! I say “she”, because it looks just like Bella, a sweet and highly energetic Golden Retriever at my work.

I’ve had trouble in the past with really overworking my pieces, especially with fur detail. So with this one, I really just tried to give the hints of the fur instead of trying to draw in ever strand, especially in the chest area.

Here is a clearer picture that I took of the work inside of my lightbox. I’m still just using my phone for photography, and its frustrating when the picture that you get does not do the actual artwork justice. Oh well, work with what you got, right?
