Hello and happy Friday! February is bringing us a fresh new month and fresh opportunities to get to work! What are you currently working on? Drop in the comments and say hello! Here’s what’s currently on my drafting board:

I treated myself recently to some Ampersand Pastelbord. I wanted to try it out, because I really like the durability of the board itself. I chose this AMAZING reference from Shutterstock.

Seriously, if you haven’t tried Shutterstock for reference photos, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?! You can get 10 free images to start off with before you decide to buy anything, so seriously. Go over there. You can get 10 free images here. I’ve made it EXTREMELY easy for you.

I’m also using for the first time some soft pastel sticks from Rembrandt. You can find them here. I really loved them! I’d say that I used them for the majority of the water.

I also used for the first time Stabilo Carbothelo Pastel Pencils and OH MY WORD. They are the BEST and I’m never going back. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

The only downside to this board is that its not all that PanPastel friendly. Not sure why.
